Connecting health and beauty to empower humanity

Our intention is to offer a change by providing an honest view on beauty through knowledge and empowerment. We offer a new view on beauty and skincare by increasing our consumers' well-being through nature's richness, facts and a great deal of gathered knowledge within our creative circuit.

The products will represent wellbeing, effectiveness, health and durability which will be communicated directly to the consumer through our products. We are creating the core of our business based on those values. Our contribution to a sustainable and more included beauty industry offers consumers another take on skincare that promotes a healthy self-view. Where we can be who we are and feel beautiful just the way we are.

Initially we want to build a brand but we also want to push and help others transition the whole beauty industry from chemicals and minerals to natural skincare. The driving force isn’t exploitation but to spread knowledge and a healthy view on what’s beautiful in this world. Create a space for everyone to thrive as they deserve to do. And once you've discovered your innate beauty you have the capacity to discover it all around you, in others. Beauty transmits.

Our vision is to provide sustainably and ethically sourced modern multi purpose skincare derived from nature's best ingredients. Re-connecting health and beauty in all honesty, like yesterday's pioneers intended to.

With the effect of human controlled destruction on nature’s resources and the dramatic outcome of climate change – a clear image starts to emerge – change is necessary. This applies to the view on beauty and skincare too. Women, the largest consumer group of cosmetics, should no longer be exposed to dubious ingredients that promises youth. Women are also being objectified to represent wealth like a galleon figure and phased out by society after a certain age and the current beauty industry forms part of that problem.

The wealth that nature provides us with is being taken for granted and consumers pay for over priced plastic luxuries that destroy our planet instead of being offered the inherent power of nature. The cosmetic industries projected image of beauty today is manipulated and distorted, it nourishes customers low self-esteem by never reaching the projected result that the marketing promises.

Let's change the view on beauty

Human skin health has never been worse than it is today, since the introduction of modern skincare. Conditions of many kinds are extremely common today. You probably know someone battling against eczema, rosacea or acne for example. What do they have in common? An imbalance of bacteria.

Some facts about the largest and most diverse organ of the human body.

  • Accounts for about 15% of your body weight.

  • An average adult has approximately 2 square meters of it.

  • Consists of about 300 million skin cells.

  • Regulates your body temperature.

  • Inhabits a microbiome system consisting of bacteria, fungi, viruses that protects you from pathogens.

  • Renews itself completely every 28 day.

  • Has at least five different types of receptors that respond to pain and touch.

At the same time science is clearly pointing out that skin is our external immune system – and therefore should be taken care of accordingly. The microbiome system on the skin outnumbers the amount of cells and it is not adapted for the majority of ingredients offered by the conventional skincare industry. Not even products that use organic ingredients, offered by organic brands, because they are still based on the belief of cleansing away the essential bacterial flora on the skin. This leads to an immediate imbalance on the skin’s surface which in most cases leads to skin conditions. Once wiped away by a single use lathering SLS, it takes 18 hours for the microbiome system to recover. These organisms protects you from pathogens and keep your skin balanced and healthy. They feed on the oil produced by the body which we secrete approximately 14g / day. Your body produces this specifically to keep the microbiome system in mint condition.

When you become aware of the mechanisms of the skin, you quickly understand what it needs – as little and as similar to the nature of our body as possible. It is self-sterilizing through sapienic acid which is naturally found in the skin's sebum. The type of ingredients the skin needs are the ones supporting its own mechanisms and that keep the microbiome well preserved so it can become more resilient towards multiple kinds of external and internal impurities, for example processed food and exhaust.
